Hey Sadness! Be Mine Forever.

Sadness, a mere glimpse of this word shudders our heart. Just an imagination of what a sad day would be like sends thrill to our spine. The fact is no one wants to be sad and nobody like gloom. Parallel to this fact, there prevails another fact that sadness is an inevitable event just as any other emotion (or loose motion). _________________________________________ What do we do when we are into an adverse circumstance? We either fight it out or one may just ignore it and keep moving in his very own rhythm. But gloom or sadness is something that keep knocking at your door at regular intervals and prods you. So it becomes quite tough to ignore it. Now, the only way left is to tackle the same. _________________________________________ While everyone loathe gloom, I found some reasons that made of fall in love with the melancholy at my heart and mind. No, i haven't become an alcoholic who grabs a bottle of alcohol and start chanting sentimental dialogues. Moreover an alcohol addict apparantly start to loves or hates something without a reason, but i have a reason for my love towards the sad part of life's journey. Ironically, my love is genuine and a bit selfish to some extent. The sad phase of my life reminds me that there is a lot to do about life, to make it better, to take it to a firmament where rays of hope fall on me earlier than they untap rest of earth. Though it is accompanied by a plethora of tears but this relaxes my eyes to dream of a better tomorrow. Perhaps, sadness is the best motivation i can have in my life so how can detach myself from this source of motivation. Continuous happiness makes us too comfortable and fill us with sloth. Sadness obliterates every wrong way on which we have deflected and bring us back to the right path of life.

The Thirsty Mumbai Mantralaya Fire

When the sun rays are penetrating our atmosphere at much higher rate than ever before - the temperature of our ambience has risen up rapidly. We can notice its effect on events occuring in our country. It seem that our brain has been melted to molten state and our thoughts are flowing here and there searching a way out to relief. When the whole northern India is eager to welcome monsoon, some of our states are flooded with rain. So this diplays the contrast in the picture. And talking about monsoon, it has the characteristics of a real man - it always delays its cumming (coming) time. _________________________________________ On the one hand we use liters of water to set off the fire on 'Mumbai Mantralaya Fire Incident' and on the other hand a swarm of water starved people litter over water tanks. I mean there were many modern and better ways to fight with fire that flourished for 6 long hours. _________________________________________ There is one link that i found common between both the Delhi and Mumbai - the scorching heat and water. The former suffered heat due to 35 degree temperature whereas other due to the Mantralaya Fire Incident where many important documents burnt off alongwith the cabins of Cheif Minister and other officials. The water was not enough to set off the thirst of inferno at mantralaya nor its ample for thirsty delheights. The inferno fed on the files of 'Adarsh Scam' signifying burning hopes of common man that blurred with rising nebulose of clouds after fire. _________________________________________ And yes, in other news, just if you care enough - BJP is backing 'Sangma' for presidential post. Also a little girl named Mahi fell into a narrow abyss of a 60feet depth borewell. I hope this lil' Mahi will beat our captain Mahi (Dhoni) in terms of earning as soon as she escapes out of borewell... _________________________________________

Deliberate Flow Of Time

Life is strange. Through thick & thins, nothing is perpetual. Time after time we repeat our promises, year after year we replicate our resolutions, Sometimes we achieve them, still starving for more. At times we miserably fall short of our goal & cry hoarse like a famished kid. Inspite of all these, time flows at its own pace – uncontrollable, deliberate. The needles of clock tick past, slowly merging seconds that transform into minutes, minutes into hours, then days, years, decades and so on…

Presidential Poll - Another Puppet For Sonia G ?

During past few days my television set is flooded with the news of presidential poll which takes a dramatic turn every now and then. From Mamata Banarjee's debut on facebook to Mulayam backstabbing her and Kalam's backout, everything seem to be a part of a typical Abbas-Mustan suspence & thriller movie. But there real life Players, our politicians, are very much smarter when it comes to playing games. All this has led to a scenario where Indian politics seem a big farce. _________________________________________ So when everyone is so damn serious about their ego and pride, I bring you collection of some of my tweets that will possibly lighten up your mood. Now this was a political statement. The truth is let me use this opportunity to publicise my twitter account and brandize myself. Hope you will enjoy it. The naughty and the hillarious. _________________________________________ Sonia ji why you no nominate Dick-Vijay Singh for president. _________________________________________ If Dr Kalam becomes our next president them the popularly called 'Tere Naam Hairstyle' will be in vogue again. _________________________________________ If even there will be a sequel to the movie 'I Am Kalam'; Mamata Banarjee will be the director and producer. _________________________________________ After declaration of Pranab's name as candidate, Mamata Banarjee released her orgasm somewhere in Bay Of Bengal. _________________________________________ I don't have any issue with Dr Mum as president but Sunny leone should be our next PM. Atleast our member of parliaments won't have to watch porn secretly in parliament house._________________________________________ Dear Metallica Sonia ji is the real Master Of Puppets. _________________________________________

India, On The Scale Of 'Standard & Poor's'

Well, most of you are on this page seeking some spicy news for standard of poor or something like that. As all of our news channels orgasm the news of presidential election in our country, I don't think many of us, the mango man, know about the report of 'Standard & Poor's' about India. Because its not a headline.

So before this post turn out to be an overhead bouncer ( which is declared as a wide ball) for you all, let me give a brief description of what 'Standard & Poors' is.

The 'Standard & Poors' (S&P) is an American financial services company which is a division of the McGraw Hill companies. The company is well known for its stock market indices and publishes financial research and analysis on stocks.

As a credit rating agency it issues ratings for the debt of public and private corporations. The grades are awarded viz AAA, BBB, CCC upto D. In its latest report, India has downgraded to grade BBB which means adverse economic conditions or changing circumstances are more likely to lead to a weakened capacity of the India to meet its financial commitments. In its report S&P further warned India that it may lose its rank in upcoming months because of its poor public finance.

That means our economy is on downfall and if this continues without any stumble inbetween we will have to face much higher costs in future for borrowing and its credibility won't be much high. Thus few lender will prefer investing in our market.

But lets cut the crap short, the breaking news is our finance minister enjoying tracking on 'Raiseena Hill' for post of president. That what we care about. Right?

Dear Orkut, Lets Be Fraaaand Again.

Once upon a time there exists a planet in the galaxy of social networking - the planet orkut. This was planet whose inhabitants were 'fraaaaandship' addict. They decorated their profile with stylish fonts, added subtitle to their display name, flaunted in 'about me' box, made various designs using text to welcome people on their profile. There was a time when the number of scraps were considered as popularity meter, when your mood determined the theme of your profile. For amusement, there were communities on planet orkut. _________________________________________ But as nothing lasts forever, there came a trouble for this planet's existence. There is a law in nature that if you are able to adapt yourself according to the events occuring around you, you will survive else you will be called outdated. Orkut failed to do so. It failed to evolve and hence was lost in an abyss. _________________________________________ Its human nature to seek something new as we get bored of repeatedness. Just like a newbie television show loses TRP, as it is telecasted for years. Same happened in case of orkut. The orkutiyans got bored of it and migrated in search to new planets like facebook. We are wanders when it comes to social networking, we keep migrating, from orkut to facebook or from facebook to google plus. Its genetic quality that transferred to us via sperm of our ancestor Adam and Eve. _________________________________________ Talking about resurrection of orkut, I see a bleek chance of this. _________________________________________ > As most of orkutiyans presently hold a facebook sociality (in context to nationality) their is a little chance of them reverting back to orkut. Instead they would like to explore new social networks like google plus. _________________________________________ > moreover facebook keep introducing new features that increases its magnetising strength and binds audience together. _________________________________________ There would have been a lot many chances of revival of orkut if google had brought out some changes to its appearance and promoted orkut instead of google plus. Its tough to go back to rejected things and people but if they change then we can give them a chance. I know many of you miss those anonymous fraaaaandship requests crappy scraps, testimonials, communities and those beautiful fonts just like i do. _________________________________________ Someday i shall go back to that planet and do more of fraaaandship and blabber about it. To me, orkut is like a school going kid who is bright and exciting where facebook is akin to a office going employee who is quite professional and formal. And i miss my childhood. _________________________________________

Boon <- Blog -> Bane

Blog, I was acquainted to this term by some newspapers and magazines that Mr. Amitabh Bachchan write blogs. To me, blog was a term that meant writing and I had on further clue about it. I didn't know that most of the webpages where we seek information are blogs. Gradually I got to know that people use blog as a source to share their ideas, opinion etc. Many people pursue blogging as a career and thus a source of income. Some use it to share and post their views on current events.

Slowly I crawled into the depth of blogging (as a reader) and surfing people's thoughts became my favourite passtime. There are many questions such as whether blogging benificial or is it just a wastage of time or timepass? Well I feel blogging is something that provides you a social connectivity which is totally a different experience from facebook or any other social networking website. Moreover, there is a vast possibility of earning a living out of blogging. There are many teenagers who chose blogging as a career and are at a new firmament. The best thing is you can do this without investing a single penny.

If you have passion to write and you update your blog regularly them the blog will certainly turn out to be a boon for you. Start surfing out good blog and you will be amused by the creativity radiating out of every blogger's mind.

And yes, no one become a star blogger overnight. You need to have perseverance to see your efforts turning into a boon as most 'rishi-munis' do it in all religious television serials. And above it you should have will to share your knowledge.

Development In India

Development is a relative term. What we see as a development today may not seem so in future. With the passage of time our need and demands grow and diversify so as our development. There are multifaced aspects development.

For me, I consider my skills to be developed when I am better than what I was. The other may consider his skills to be developed whom he is able to compete with his fellows. This is applicable to everx field viz research and technology, education, economy, etc. Something we call evolving or progressing.

I was conversing with my grandfather yesterday and he told me that i used to earn Re. 1 per day when he first joined a job back in 1950's. And during those times they had k simple lifestyle. Now I live in 21st century with my father earning a handsome salary in 5 digits. There is one more difference between those days and present time - our lifestyle has change completely. Today, with advent of cellphone, I need a recharge everyday; i cant imagine my life without internet and i use bike instead of bullock-cart. I feel myself surrounded by gadgets. We use modern agricultural equipments and techniques like drip irrigation at our farmhouse. What is all this? Isn't it development?

India became independent in 1947 and during these 71 years of freedom we have achieved a lot in various fields. Let it be science and technology, sports or any other field. From inventing our own nuclear missile to developing the tablet phone (Akash Tablet), a country which was in shackles of Britishes has become global power and has shown development in all spheres.

Just look at your life before 5 years and now. You certainly will feel that India has progressed. Yes I live in a country which will be amongst top developed nations by 2020. Development is a process that will always go on.

Save Girl Child - No More Infanticide

Three years ago, I had been to a town near Gurgaon (Haryana) to spend my vacations. Being a teenager, it was my hobby to roam at market and other public places. During my visit I observed a strange thing about the city - I found very few girls at these places comparing to my hometown. At that time I assumed some funny reasons that either girls of the city are too shy, or there are many restrictions on girls here, else the population of this city is short of girls.

However, it was just an assumption of a frustaued teenager who didn't found anyone at public places. But this funny perspective of mind took a severe turn when i got to know the fact that Haryana, Delhi & Chandigarh lie at the bottom of table when it comes to the female sex ratio according to census 2011. With 877, 866 and 818 girls per 1000 boys in cities mentioned above respectively, it is obvious that female sex ratio in these cities is at alarming level. Moreover, since these cities happen to be the developed cities of our country where literacy rates is higher this data sounds pathetic. One can just imagine what would be the situation at villages.

Now I am not going to talk about reasons for advent of this situation, its effects and all as this issue has been talked about much during past few days. Thanks to Amir Khan who drew our attention to the issue through Satyamev-Jayate. If something is not talked about, we seldom bother.

I am enlisting few reasons why we need to save girl child.

>Save girl child if you want your dynasty to persist. (Though its a bit conservative thinking)

> Save them because you are in this world because of your mother. What if she too had agreed for infanticide? (an appeal to all female readers)

>Save girl child because our country need more Kalpana Chawla & Indira Gandhi.

>We Indians are crazy for bollywood stars and their lifestyle. So save girl child because Mr. Perfectionist Amir Khan says so.

In a country where a female is president, I anticipate that next time, after 9 years (i.e 2011 when next census will happen) the situation will become better. I also hope that by now you have pledged to fight against female infanticide. On that note, lets sing

O ri chiraiya, Nanhi si chiriya,
Angna mein phir aana re...

Female are not our foe. So why female foeticide.

I Am Gay. So What?

“… but I don’t have much knowledge. I had locked up myself in a room for two years so you can estimate what my confidence is upto. I feel so much depressed most of the time. I am always afraid to socialize with people as they mock me for my girly side.”
These are the words of a boy who seem to be quite depressed, desolated and isolated.
After reading the above lines you might have a perception that the person here is pathetic. Some of you may have a pity towards him while others would be using some ultra terms like ‘chutiya hai ye.’ Okay! It happens, just the variation of perceptions. Every person conceive different ideas. But have you ever gave a deep thought to what a gay have to face in our society? I know it as I had an interaction with one such person.
Being a gay and residing in a conservative society is quite tough. They have to suffer jeer and assaulting remarks of people. Everyone apparantly starts avoiding them which leaves them forlone and subsided. People see them as if they are sinners. They are ridiculed and get an inferiority complex which bury their confidence into an abyss and they seldom overcome it. All this have an adverse affect on the person’s life. Like in this case the boy locked up himself in a room. There innumerous other cases of drug addiction and suicides as they were unable to cope up with society (ironically our society was unable to cope with them).
Unfortunately, even after a law regarding homosexuality is passed by the government of India but nothing much have been changed in this context. Homosexuality is still a taboo in our country. Our society which proclaim itself to be modern is finding this hard to digest. Though the materialistic things around us might have modernized but our thoughts are still into the shackles of conservative ideas and beliefs. Although, in metropolitian cities, people’s view and opinion has changed drastically which is evident from our honourable Supreme Court’s decision of legalising homosexuality but at the same time there are many dharma-guru and various communities who are against this pursuit.

We live in a country where it took a long time to abolish social evils like sathi-pratha, dowry & child marriage, still it exist in fractions. A society which segregate people suffering from AIDS, though with the passage of time we are now acknowledging their feelings.
I anticipate homosexuals will soon be accepted respectfully in our society. It will take some time but I know it will happen for sure. I know it because i have faith on my countrymen.

Go Green - Save Earth

When will we wake up?
Is it the time
When greenery around fade up?
When we sulk for a drop of water?
When d ecological balance alter?
Whn wil we realize?
Is it
When mother earth cry?
When the creatures around die?
When humans become history
And plant earth’s existence a mystery?
Wake up
The time is now
Spread awareness, greenery
Make the world wow !

P.S. - This poem has won 'FREECULTR' go-green contest.

Uljhe Sawal

Nindein meri sapne mere
Aashayein aur aansu mere,
Khoya bachpan aur wo bachpan ke khwaab mere,
Aaj puche dil kayi sawaal mere,
Kya chaha aur kya paya
Kitna socha kitna aage badh paya,
Apni zimmedariyo se muh fera, kismat bhi main fer sakta tha,
Kal-kal karte-karte main yun badh aaya
In sawalon ke jawab dhundhta nikal chala hun shayad kabhi khud ko talash kar saku,
Aur phir khud se in sawalon ke jawab mang saku…
Kahin kisi roj…
